Moreland Crime Investigation Unit Detectives are investigating a robbery which occurred in Brunswick on 26 July.
Investigators have been told the 56-year-old victim was in his motorised wheelchair on Watson Street, near the intersection of Union Street, when he was approached by two male offenders about 7pm.
One man punched the victim before the second took his bag and both fled the scene.
The satchel contained the victim’s mobile phone and an amount of cash.
The victim sustained minor facial injuries and was transported to hospital for observation.
Both men are perceived to be African in appearance.
