The Northern Territory Police Force has charged the 54-year-old federal member for Solomon, Luke Gosling, in relation to an alleged assault on the Administrator of the Northern Territory.
It is alleged the assault occurred at a public event on Saturday 18 July 2026.
Investigations began last week and police arrested the member for Solomon earlier today.
He has now been charged with two counts of Assault on the Administrator and was bailed to appear before Darwin Local Court on 1 September.
