Transit police are looking for the owner of a large amount of cash which was found on Toorak Road near Chapel Street on Friday afternoon.
A member of the public found the cash outside a bank on Toorak Road about 5.30pm.
He handed the cash to Protective Service Officers at the South Yarra Railway Station.
Police are urging anyone who may have lost the cash to report the loss to their local police station who will be able to return the money to its rightful owner.
