A woman has died in a fatal traffic crash at Midgee, south of Rockhampton this afternoon.
Initial inquiries suggest a white Mitsubishi Triton was travelling north on the Bruce Highway just after 3pm when it collided with a Toyota RAV4 which was travelling south at the time.
The 21-year-old driver of the RAV4 was pronounced deceased at the scene, while her passenger and the driver of the utility were taken to the Rockhampton Hospital in serious conditions.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
