Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a fatal traffic crash at Richlands in the early hours of this morning, 5 August.
Around 4.08am police and emergency services were called to Freeman Road at the intersection of Firth Street after a vehicle collided head-on with a parked truck.
The driver of the vehicle, a 43-year-old Leichhardt man, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any dashcam or vision to assist investigators is asked to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
