A woman has died in hospital following a serious traffic crash that occurred at Severnlea on 2 August.
Around 4:05am, a white Toyota Yaris was travelling north on the New England Highway when it left the roadway and crashed into a concrete drain.
The driver, a 69-year-old Ipswich woman, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
She was later transferred to Toowoomba Hospital, where she died on 3 August, as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
