Police seek witnesses, dashcam vision – assault after traffic incident at , QLD

Police investigating the assault of a female driver at Broadbeach Waters yesterday are appealing for witnesses and dashcam vision.

At around 8.30am on Thursday, January 13 two vehicles, a maroon Honda Civic sedan and a silver BMW sedan were travelling southbound on Bundall Road when a minor collision occurred between them.

Both vehicles pulled over at the intersection with Framar Street and the occupants exited their vehicles.

The driver of the Honda, a 39-year-old woman, was allegedly punched, kicked and spat on by the three female occupants from the BMW.

The woman returned to her car, locking herself in.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, the manner of driving of the vehicles in the lead-up and motorists with relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police (details below).
