Police seek witnesses to assault in Alice Springs 26 June

Northern Territory Police are calling for information relating to an assault that occurred on Gregory Terrace in Alice Springs on Saturday evening.

CCTV operators observed the victim being assaulted by two men near the intersection of Todd Street at around 9:30pm.

The victim received injuries to his head before falling to the ground and being knocked unconscious. The offenders fled the scene with the man’s belongings.

Two men believed to be involved are described as of Aboriginal appearance, with one wearing jeans, white shoes, a black hoodie and a light cap. The second was wearing a striped shirt, black pants and a dark hat.

A woman also believed to be involved, was also of Aboriginal appearance, wearing a long white jacket.
