Police are appealing for witnesses after a fisherman was located deceased in Separation Creek this morning.
Investigators were told a man was fishing off rocks near Jamieson Track when he went missing just before 7am.
The body of a 59-year-old Reservoir man was located at the bottom of a cliff about 7.35am.
It is believed a good Samaritan attempted to help the man and provided medical assistance, then left the scene, before police arrived.
Police are appealing for this person to come forward to assist with their investigation into the incident.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
