Property Offence Charges, South Brisbane

Police have charged a man following investigations into multiple property offences in Brisbane’s south over the past month.

It will be alleged on 20 May, the man forced entry into home on Prince Street, Annerley.

The keys to a Chery Tiggo 4 were taken and used to steal the station wagon that was parked on the street.

It will be further alleged that on June 5, the man stole a bicycle from a Cottenham Street, Fairfield address.

The man entered the downstairs area of the property, attempted to steal a vehicle, before the bicycle was taken from the address.

Then on 13 June it will be alleged the man entered broke into a Lewis Street, Camp Hill residence where he woke the resident by opening their bedroom door.

The man allegedly removed a knife and car keys from the address.

The 28-year-old man was arrested at Moorooka on 16 June and charged with six counts of enter dwelling and commit indictable offence, four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence and two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He will appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on 3 July.
