Public Art Policy consultation closes soon

Our community consultation on our Public Art Policy is closing on Wednesday 19 April.

Don’t forget to have your say on how you feel about public art. We’re updating our Public Art Policy and we want to know what you would like to see and where you would like to see it?

Maybe you’ve seen one of our wall murals or purchased a ticket to an upcoming DRIFT art event? These are all examples of public art projects.

Freely accessible, public art is a reflection of our time and our community, it triggers conversations, and has the power to give us a daily brush with creativity and make our culture thrive.

HOW TO HAVE YOUR SAY

Our community consultation is open until Wednesday 19 April.

It’s easy to provide feedback online, by visiting: mornpen.vic.gov.au/publicartpolicy

Hard copy forms are also available at Shire Customer Service Centres and libraries.

Quote attributable to Mayor Councillor Steve Holland:

“We want to hear from you about how we can continue to create meaningful public art on the Mornington Peninsula. Jump online or visit one of our Centres to share your feedback.”

Quote attributable to Arts and Culture Advisory Representative Councillor David Gill:

“There’s nothing quite so special as stumbling across art during your day to day. Tell us what art you’d like to see, where you’d like to see it and what it means to you before 19 April.”
