Narrandera Shire Council
Narrandera Shire Council is pleased to announce the upcoming commencement of a new construction project at Marie Bashir Park. Site establishment is set to begin Friday 2 February 2024 with construction scheduled to commence Monday 5 February 2024 and is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete.
During the public consultation phase, valuable feedback was received, leading to the decision to relocate the construction site closer to the skate park. This adjustment aims to better align with the preferences of the community and improve the overall experience for residents and visitors.
This project is funded by the Commonwealth Government – Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program – Round 3.
