Queensland Corrective Services officers suspended

Three corrective services officers have been suspended from duty pending ethical standards investigations in the past week.

An officer from Capricornia Correctional Centre (CCC) was suspended from duty on May 7 as a result of an ongoing investigation of allegations of inappropriate use of force, preparing inaccurate reports and providing false, inaccurate or misleading information.

A second officer at Capricornia Correctional Centre (CCC) was suspended from duty on May 8 pending an investigation into allegations of providing inaccurate, false or misleading information.

An officer at Townsville Correctional Complex (TCC) was suspended from duty on May 8 pending an investigation into allegations of introducing prohibited items into a correctional centre and failure to report a conflict of interests.
