Rockhampton Regional Council has completed the construction of a single-lane roundabout at the East Street and Stanley Street intersection.
Thanks to nearly $1.1 million in funding provided under the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program, this high-crash area has undergone improvements to improve safety for the community.
Nationwide, the Australian Government is providing $110 million each year to the Black Spot Program. This includes $21.7 million for high-risk sites across Queensland in 2023-24.
