Get ready to indulge at the Shoal Bay Food & Wine Festival on Saturday 30 November 2024.

This exciting free event will transform Shoal Bay Road and the stunning foreshore into a vibrant alfresco dining precinct, showcasing the region’s diverse food and beverage scene.

Bringing together top chefs, wine makers and distillers from Port Stephens and the Hunter Region, the festival offers an opportunity for the community to come together to enjoy on-stage discussions and live music while savouring the best of local cuisine.

Mayor Leah Anderson says the festival will bring vibrancy to the streets of Shoal Bay by creating an event for visitors and locals alike.

“We’re so excited to bring the Shoal Bay Food & Wine Festival to Port Stephens and showcase the abundance of quality food Port Stephens and the Hunter has to offer,” Mayor Anderson said.

In addition to the beloved dining options along Shoal Bay Road, there’ll be a variety of local and Hunter wide pop-up businesses joining the festivities.

Expect delicious offerings from Rick Stein, Little Beach Boathouse, Restaurant 2317, Iron Door Craft Street Food, Greek at the Beach, Two Bobs Bakery, Tynan Wines, Iron Gate Estate, Bonvilla Estate, and Lemon Tree Passage Distillery.

“Our goal is to establish the Shoal Bay Food & Wine Festival as a signature event, attracting visitors from far and wide and solidifying Shoal Bay’s reputation as a premier destination for food, wine, and entertainment,” Mayor Anderson said.

“We want to create an event that our community can truly be proud of, showcasing the unique charm and character of Shoal Bay to the world.

“With amazing food and plenty of activities for everyone, I look forward to welcoming everyone to this amazing event where all you need to do is relax and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere,” Mayor Anderson added.
