Jesuit Social Services acknowledges the resignation of the NT Children’s Commissioner Shahleena Musk, and thanks the out-going Commissioner for her service and contribution to the well-being of the Territory’s children.
“Ms Musk has made a very substantial contribution and her resignation is a serious loss to the Territory. She has consistently provided frank and fearless advice on behalf of the Territory’s children and it is disappointing that the Northern Territory Government has created circumstances where such a strong advocate for children feels she has to resign.” said Julie Edwards, CEO of Jesuit Social Services.
