Strike Force Vulcan officers are investigating a bushfire that occurred in Forrestfield at about 5pm on Wednesday, 8 January 2020.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious and it is believed the fire started in bushland opposite Dawson Avenue near Hicks Street.
Strike Force Vulcan detectives would like to speak to the riders of two white trail bikes that were seen in the bushland area just prior to the fire. One bike also had a pillion passenger.
Any members of the public who were driving in the area around the time of the fire who have dash-cam vision of the area is asked to come forward. Anyone with information regarding this fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
