Police are investigating the discovery of two bodies located in Gordonbrook Dam around 3.30pm today (Saturday March 19).
A kayaker raised the alarm after sighting the bodies floating around five meters from the shore of the dam.
A crime scene has been declared and emergency services assisted with retrieving the bodies this evening.
Enquires are being conducted by Kingaroy and Murgon Criminal Investigation Branch to establish the identities of the pair and the circumstances of their deaths.
A post mortem will be conducted in coming days. There is no further information at this time.
