Xin Jin Shan School in Mount Waverley is the biggest Chinese Language School in Victoria, teaching over 3,000 students every week out of Mount Waverley Secondary College’s campus.
That’s why a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will support students at Xin Jin Shan School with provision of a new special needs assistant for high needs students and school crossing supervisors to improve safety around school during school drop off times.
Shadow Minister for Education, David Hodgett, said these measures will support the growing Xin Jin Shan School.
“Asher Judah is a passionate advocate for local schools in his area and has been listening to the needs of the Ashwood community.”
“We are supporting the school’s needs to ensure it can provide a quality education option for families in the eastern suburbs.”
Liberal Candidate for Ashwood, Asher Judah, said the Liberals and Nationals were committed to supporting students at Xin Jin Shan School.
“Our $5.4 million investment in Community Languages Victoria will ease family budgets with the annual subsidy on XJS school fees rising to $275 per student, per year.”
