Police have released CCTV footage and images of a man and woman who stole several cosmetics from a store inside a CBD shopping complex.
It’s believed the pair entered the Swanston Street store about 5pm and took turns distracting the shop attendants before placing items in their bags and leaving without making payment.
Investigators have released images of two people they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
Both are believed to be aged between 30-40 years old.
The male is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance and was wearing a black jacket, blue polo top, jeans and white sport shoes and carrying a grey over the shoulder bag.
The female is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with brown hair. She was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and carrying both a cream handbag and grey over the shoulder bag.
