The Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre will undergo a series of upgrades during April valued at $236,000 as part of Council’s capital works program.
Works include:
- 25m Pool Filtration System Replacement
- Pool Concourse Re-surfacing
- Annual Basketball Stadium Resurfacing
The works are scheduled to be completed from 1-14 April. During this time pool facilities at the Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre will be unavailable. While, the basketball stadium will be closed from 8-14 April.
During works, the Gym and Group Fitness programs will continue as scheduled, and the Seymour War Memorial Outdoor Pool will be open 6am to 4pm weekdays and 12pm to 7pm weekends.
Kilmore Leisure Centre will also operate as usual, ensuring our community has continuous access to fitness and recreation facilities.
All active memberships, including Learn to Swim, Aquatics and Lifestyle memberships to the Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre will be automatically suspended. Any term memberships will have expiry dates extended. However, members will have the option to reinstate their membership if they choose to continue using the gym or group fitness facilities at Seymour or the Kilmore Leisure Centre.
