Police are urgently appealing for public assistance to help locate missing elderly Ashwood man John Ghearini.
The 81-year-old was last seen at a medical facility on Queens Parade around 3.30pm this afternoon.
John suffers from dementia, requiring medication and is unfamiliar with the area.
John is Caucasian in appearance, approximately 183cm tall with a thin build and grey hair.
He is wearing a blue and black zip up jacket and a wide brimmed hat.
Investigators have released an image of John in the hope someone may have seen him and can provide information regarding his whereabouts.
