Mariah Cody will start the program later this month.

Participants in the Regional Leadership Skills learn leadership skills that they can apply in their workplaces and communities, helping them to be more confident, involved, connected and engaged.

Mariah is an active member of the brigade and currently holds the role of secretary. She also supports her brigade during open days, the Good Friday Appeal and in the delivery of Fire Safe Kids.

She wants to use the skills she develops during the program to move into a more substantial role within her brigade.

“It will be a great opportunity for me to gain skills needed to take a more active role within my brigade,” Mariah said.

District 16 OM Bernie Fradd congratulated Mariah on her successful application.

“This program is a great opportunity for members to gain valuable leadership skills for both their professional and personal life,” Bernie said.

“Mariah’s passion to use these skills as a CFA member will have a huge, positive impact on the brigade.”

Mariah will start the program later this month.
