The Goldfields Reservoir in Maryborough is a much-loved recreational asset. That’s why during the 2023-2024 financial year we’ll be carrying out works to stabilise the dam bank to ensure the facility can be enjoyed by residents for many years to come.
As part of the project, investigative works need to be carried out along the dam bank by a geotechnical engineer. To enable these works to occur, a section of the walking track along the west side (Derby Road side) will be closed from Monday 19 to Friday 23 June, 2023.

The results of these explanatory works will be used by engineers to determine the scope of the project which will be carried out during the 2023-2024 financial year.
The project is made possible thanks to $930,000 in Victorian Government funding.
