If you’re short on plans for New Year’s Eve, Fairfield City’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration Illuminate has you sorted! Tickets are still available for the popular event, promising an exciting line up of family-friendly entertainment, food, and free rides.
Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone is looking forward to seeing in the new year at Illuminate with family and friends.
“New Year’s Eve is an opportunity to come together and look back and celebrate what we have all achieved this year, and look forward to what’s in store for the year ahead,” Mayor Carbone said.
“If you haven’t made any plans yet, there’s still time to join us for a night of amazing food, fun and entertainment at Illuminate, the safe and affordable way to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Get ready to dance the year away with DJ Hany, open air circus performances, and trackless train rides; or get amongst the variety of fun interactive activities like balloon twisting and face painting, culminating in a spectacular fireworks finale at 9.30pm.
The popular family trivia event testing your knowledge of Fairfield City is back this year with Aquatopia water park prizes up for grabs.
The dining precinct has you covered with food trucks serving up your festival favourites including a sausage sizzle and water combo for $5, or bring your own food along together with picnic rug and chairs, and settle in for a memorable night under the stars.
Farewell 2023 with a bang at Illuminate! Tickets are only $5 per person aged 12 months and over and can be purchased at fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/Illuminate.
