ANZAC Day Services and Road Closures in Dungog Shire

This Sunday 25 April 2021, a number of ANZAC Day services will be held around the Shire:
Clarence Town
The March will begin at Clarence Town Bowling Club at 5.30am, and will be followed by a Dawn Service at Clarence Town Cenotaph in Grey Street.
Breakfast will also be served at the Clarence Town Bowling Club at the conclusion of the Dawn Service.
Please note that, in the event of rain, the Dawn Service will instead be held at Clarence Town Bowling Club.
Dungog
In Dungog, a Dawn Service will be held from 5am at the Dungog Memorial RSL Club, with the War Graves Service at 7am at Dungog Cemetery.
The March will then commence at Dungog Post Office at 10.30am, with a Service at 10.45am at the Cenotaph.
Lunch will be held at Dungog Memorial RSL Club following the Service.
Paterson, Vacy and Gresford
While there will be no additional services or marches held at Paterson, Vacy or Gresford this year, council will be laying wreaths at all memorials in memory of those who served.
Planned road closures
Residents are also advised that Dowling Street and Brown Street in Dungog will be closed from 10am for the duration of the March.
The Brown Street and Lord Street intersection will also remain closed until the Service is concluded.
There are no planned road closures for Clarence Town.
