Appeal: Grievous bodily harm in Ipswich, QLD

Ipswich Detectives are appealing for public assistance in relation to a grievous bodily harm that occurred at Springfield Lakes on Wednesday, March 27.

Around 3.40am, police responded to a location along Springfield Lakes Boulevard, where a 38-year-old male was located with significant injuries.

It is believed that the man had been walking throughout the Springfield Lakes area between a park and the tennis courts prior to the incident.

The 38-year-old Paradise Point man was transported to the hospital with face, head and upper torso injuries, where he remains in a serious condition.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone in this area between 11pm on Tuesday, March 26, and 6am on Wednesday, March 27, to contact them.

Police are also appealing for anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage from this area between these times to come forward.
