Break and enter appeal in Cannon Hill, QLD

Detectives investigating the break and enter of a Cannon Hill retailer this week have released vision, appealing for anyone with further information about the incident to contact police.

Just before midnight on Wednesday, July 28 police arrived to reports of the Creek Road business being broken into.

Upon arrival officers observed two men getting into a purple Subaru Impreza with false New South Wales number plates.

The car was observed to then start driving dangerously in the carpark.

An attempt was made to intercept it, but the driver evaded police.

The sedan was last seen travelling towards Carina along Creek Road.

Further investigations suggest occupants from the vehicle were dropped off at Scrub Road.

The bumper of the Subaru was located on a medium strip near Carindale.

Review of CCTV shows a sledgehammer was used to break glass of the storefront, before a large amount of clothing was stolen.

No one was injured during the incidents.

One man was wearing a black jumper with purple pants, red gloves and white shoes.

The other, a bright blue sports jumper, with black pants, shoes and gloves. Both of them had their faces covered.

Anyone with dashcam vision or further information is urged to contact police immediately.
