Call for information – Stolen motor vehicle – Katherine

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a stolen motor vehicle was driven dangerously around Katherine overnight.

Around 11:45pm, police received reports that a Holden Colorado utility was stolen from a location on Second Street, Katherine.

Police CCTV operators identified the vehicle driving dangerously throughout the township.

At 2am, police were monitoring the vehicles movements when it deliberately served into a police vehicle, causing minor damage to wheel arches and doors. No injuries occurred in the incident.

A short time later, the stolen vehicle stopped on Grevillea Road with all occupants fleeing into nearby bushland.

Investigations remain ongoing.
