Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses relating to an aggravated assault in Alice Springs early this morning.
Between 3:20am and 3:45am a 27-year-old male was walking from Barrett Drive towards Tuncks Road. He was allegedly confronted by up to four males and assaulted, before the offenders stole items from his person.
The male victim later sought treatment at Alice Springs Hospital for minor injuries.
Detectives from Alice Springs Criminal Investigations Branch are urging residents to review their CCTV and seeking dashcam footage from vehicles for suspicious behaviour around this area. Police can be contacted on 131 444. Please quote reference NTP2400034071.
