Dogs injured, man sought at Silverdale, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance after two dogs were seriously injured at a park in Sydney’s west today.

About 1.50pm (Sunday 26 May 2019), two couples were walking their dogs off leash within Fowler Reserve, Silverdale.

The dogs walked down an embankment before returning to their owners with visible wounds to their bodies.

A man was confronted by the owners briefly before they took the dogs to the vets.

The dogs, a Kelpie/Bull Arab mix, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, are in a serious condition.

The man has been described as Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s, stocky build, bald, with a ginger beard and wearing a flannelette shirt.
