The Cook Labor Government is championing community spirit and sustainability across regional Western Australia with the launch of the 2025 Tidy Towns Sustainable Communities Awards.
The 2025 awards are open to all regional and remote communities, including towns, cities, and Aboriginal communities.
Community representatives including local councils, schools, community resource centres and individuals can submit initiatives and projects under a range of categories, including:
- Litter Action;
- Waste Management;
- Community Containers for Change;
- Young Legends;
- Environmental Sustainability;
- Environmental Education;
- Heritage and Culture;
- Community Action and Wellbeing; and
- General Appearance.
The awards are supported by sponsors including Western Australia Landcare Network, Botanical Gardens and Parks Authority, Rural Aid Australia, Containers for Change, Bank of I.D.E.A.S, Natsales, and Vanguard Press, with prizes awarded to category winners.
Entries close on 22 August 2025.
