A woman has died following a collision in Forrest Hill this afternoon.
It is believed a Ford Falcon was involved in a minor collision with another vehicle on Mills Street just before 4pm.
The Falcon continued on for a short distance before stopping.
The driver and sole occupant, a 52-year-old Croydon woman, got out of the car and looked back at the crash scene.
It is believed she then attempted to reverse her car with the drives door still ajar.
She was thrown from her vehicle as she accelerated.
The woman was treated at the scene but sadly died.
The driver of the other car was uninjured.
