Hills Program wins national Resilience Award

Adelaide Hills Council is proud to have won a prestigious Resilient Australia National Local Government Award for the ‘Towards Community Led Resilience Program’.

The competition was fierce, with numerous nominations from across Australia, and the Adelaide Hills Council team were elated to be one of the six finalists and the ultimate winner.

Mayor Jan -Claire Wisdom said the success of the ‘Towards Community Led Resilience Program’ is testament to Council’s commitment to addressing the aftermath of the Cudlee Creek and Cherry Gardens Fires.

“This initiative was meticulously crafted through extensive engagement with our community. We really listened to them so we could ensure the program caters to their specific needs and interests.
