At its April meeting, Council endorsed the design for the proposed pocket park at 7 Well Street, Brighton following consideration of community feedback.
This fabulous new park will showcase a range of native and indigenous planting, and includes outdoor seating, two accessible picnic tables, bike racks, accessible pathways and an enhanced pedestrian access route to Church Street.
Following Council’s endorsement of the proposed pocket park design, a tender process will commence in May 2023 to build the pocket park as per the design. Once a successful tender is awarded, works will begin on site.
Works are expected to commence in July/August 2023 and will take approximately 3 months to complete.
