I am pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Bullas to the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) Commission as Rail Commissioner.
Ms Bullas has been involved in the rail safety and rail regulation at the state and national level and her appointment recognises her significant operational achievements across those rail sectors.
She will bring her skills and extensive experience to the ATSB to assist their work addressing strategic challenges and improving rail safety across the industry.
I look forward to continuing to work with the ATSB Commission to promote safety in the transport sector through independent investigations that result in better safety outcomes for the Australian public.
