A man has been charged in relation to the attempted theft of farm equipment from a rural property in the state’s Central West region.

Between 12.39am and 1.27am yesterday (Monday 2 September 2019), a property owner was alerted to a break-in at a shed on his property near Peak Hill.

Following inquiries, police arrested two men at a Derribong Street home at Peak Hill.

They were taken to Parkes Police Station where one man was later released pending further investigations.
