Police are appealing for public assistance after receiving reports that a teenage boy was pulled into a vehicle at a bus stop at Hurstville this afternoon.
About 5.50pm (Wednesday 3 April 2019), witnesses have told police that a black Holden Captiva, with a red P-plate, stopped at a bus stop at the corner of Barratt and Woodville streets.
Two male occupants reportedly alighted from the Holden and assaulted a 15-year-old male who was at the bus stop.
The teenager was then forced into the rear of the Holden, which drove from the area.
Police from St George Police Area Command were alerted and commenced a search for the Holden which had a NSW registration of BIM 25L.
The two male occupants of the vehicle were described to police as being of Pacific Islander appearance.
The teenager assaulted at the bus stop is also described as being of Pacific Islander appearance and wearing a school uniform.
Investigators have been conducting a number of inquiries since taking the report, but have been unable to locate the vehicle, or its occupants.
Police have not received any reports of missing children, or adults this evening.
Police are concerned for the safety of the teenager and have appealed to the community for assistance.
Investigators have urged anyone with information about the incident, the males or the vehicle to contact St George Police Station on 8566 7499 immediately.
If sighted, the vehicle should not be approached, but police contacted by Triple Zero (000) immediately.
