With COVID-19 restrictions gradually easing and more fine weather days on the horizon, Council will resume enforcing all parking restrictions across Bayside to ensure public safety and access to spaces for all.
Parking restrictions play an important role in ensuring access for residents to their homes and beach/foreshore car parks, safety around schools, parking turnover in shopping villages and access for essential workers and emergency services.
As our residents enjoy our open spaces more than ever and students return to schools, please follow parking restrictions to avoid a fine.
Beach Parking
Previous beach parking permits expire on 30 October 2020 so please replace your beach parking permits before then to avoid a fine.
Beach parking permits were sent in this year’s rate notice. If you did not receive your beach parking permits, you can apply online.
Residential Parking
The four-week grace period for expiring residential parking permits ends on 31 October 2020.
Owner/occupiers who already had permit(s) automatically received renewed permit(s) in the mail. If you haven’t received your renewed permit(s), you will need to renew online.
School Zones
With students returning, all parking restrictions around schools are now in force.
Bayside’s School Crossing Supervisors are back on the job, helping to ensure the safety of students at drop off and pick up times.
