Police appeal to locate boy missing from Bankstown

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a boy missing from Bankstown.

Mohammed Abu Khalifa, 13, was last seen at a home on Boardman Street, Yagoona, about 9.15am today (Monday 17 April 2023).

He was subsequently reported missing to officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command who have commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for Mohammed’s welfare due to his age and due to him living with autism.

Mohammed is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 160cm to 165cm tall, slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. He is non-verbal.

He was last a black t shirt, grey shorts, and black Nike slides.

Mohammed is known to frequent Bankstown and Yagoona areas.

Anyone with information about Mohammed’s whereabouts is urged to call Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
