A motorcyclist has died after it crashed in Altona this morning.
It is understood the motorcycle was travelling along the Kororoit Creek Road on-ramp of the Princes Freeway when it lost control and crashed into a barrier just after 10.30am.
The yet to be foramlly identified rider died at the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
Significant delays are expected in the area while police investigate.
