Police seek information after ram raid at Kelso

Investigators have released CCTV images and are appealing for public assistance following the robbery of a service station in the state’s Central Tablelands last week.

About 2.30am on Friday (27 October 2023), police were called to a service station on Sydney Road, Kelso, following reports a Toyota sedan had driven into the front of the store.

Police were told two men exited the vehicle and stole cash and cigarettes, before fleeing the scene.

The shop attendant was not injured.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, investigators have now released CCTV images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first man depicted is described as being of large build, wearing dark pants with a yellow and blue jacket, cap and black shoes.

The second man depicted is described as being large build, wearing red track pants, dark jacket and black shoes.
