Police seek information at Warner, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with investigations after an elderly woman was inappropriately touched at Warner on Brisbane’s northside last month.

Investigations indicate at approximately 6.15pm on Tuesday, August 22, an 86-year-old woman was walking near Warner Lake along Pallas Parade when she was approached by a man, who was unknown to her.

The man inappropriately touched the woman before leaving the scene on foot, wearing trousers and a long-sleeve jumper.

He is described as Indian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall with a slim build and black hair.

Police are providing support to the woman following the incident.

Anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident, or who has relevant vision, is urged to immediately contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
