Reboot your privacy – ATSB supports Privacy Awareness Week 2020

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is proud to support Privacy Awareness Week 2020 (PAW 2020), which aims to highlight the importance of protecting personal information and to help organisations, agencies and the public to navigate the privacy landscape.

Running from 4 May, PAW 2020 focuses on the steps we can all take to reboot our privacy settings and strengthen our passwords and other security controls. It encourages organisations and agencies across Australia to check their privacy controls and to consider the privacy alternatives as part of their efforts to keep personal information secure.

To help you understand how the ATSB handles personal information, take a moment to review our privacy policy, which ensures that any personal information we collect is protected from misuse, loss and interference, and is dealt with in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

The ATSB encourages all members of the community to value personal information through a better understanding of their privacy rights and responsibilities, and reaffirms that we are committed to respecting your right to privacy and protecting your personal information.
