On Tuesday 5 December we said thank you to our 292 volunteers, who provide so much for our residents across 4,000 volunteer hours per month.
We want to send a special thank you to Brian Chilman who has been a volunteer community bus driver for the City of PAE for the past 35 years. This is an incredible commitment to our community and we are truly grateful for everything you do.
Our volunteers help to make the City of PAE a place that people want to be and love to be, and our City wouldn’t be what it is without you as part of our team.
Volunteers talk to people, drive people, provide information, make people laugh, feed people, keep our city looking good, talk to visitors, encourage people, take them to the beach, keep them healthy, make them smile. They are friends to people, teach people, connect people or reconnect them, take them walking, make them feel welcome, plus so much more.
