A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in the Southern Highlands.
Prior to 3.40am today (Wednesday 7 March 2019), a Ford utility was travelling on Wombeyan Caves Road, High Range, about 10km north west of Mittagong, when it left the road and crashed.
The driver and sole occupant, a man aged in his 60s, died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
A passing motorist notified officers from The Hume Police District who are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, which is believed to have occurred last night (Wednesday 6 March 2019).
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
