South Australia Covid update as at 3 December 2021

There have been four new cases of COVID-19 reported today. There have been 957 cases reported in South Australia to date.

Today’s cases are three men between the ages of 20 and 70 years old and one woman in her 30s.

Two cases are interstate travellers and one case, who attended the event linked to the Norwood cluster, is under investigation to determine if they caught their infection interstate or in South Australia.

One case has been classified as unlinked due to a yet unknown source of infection. This case spent time in the Port Noarlunga region.

People in the Onkaparinga LGA, including Port Noarlunga and Reynella, who have any symptoms of COVID-19, are strongly encouraged to seek testing with any symptoms whatsoever, and isolate until they receive a negative test result. SA Health is working to increase capacity in testing sites in this area.

Anyone from this area who is eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19 should roll-up and get vaccinated to protect themselves and the community.
