The Parramatta Eels will take on the Brisbane Broncos in the Anzac round clash at TIO Stadium on Friday, 23 April with support from the Territory Labor Government.

The Anzac round is one of the most renowned on the NRL calendar, and is significant to the Top End due to the Territory’s extensive World War II history.

Players and support staff from both teams arrive in the Territory tomorrow and will take part in community engagement opportunities over coming days.

These include the Parramatta Eels Primary School Cup, a Wheelchair Rugby League come and try day, the Eels Mataranka Sports Expo and a Broncos training session that is open to the public.

About 60 representatives from the Territory’s adopted club, the Eels, will also attend the Dawn Service on Anzac Day. The club will take part in the wreath-laying ceremony.
