Traffic crash appeal in Teneriffe, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was allegedly injured during a traffic crash in Teneriffe on Wednesday, March 15.

Police will allege a 71-year-old New Farm woman was crossing the road from Macquarie Street to Kingsholme Street at approximately 8.20pm when she was struck by a van.

She was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses, including a woman who spoke briefly to officers at the scene, to contact police.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.
