On Friday, 10 November for the State Memorial Service in honour the life of football great Ron Barassi, Council flags will be flown at half-mast.
The flags will remain at half-mast in acknowledgement of Remembrance Day on 11 November. Remembrance Day marks the end of World War II and is a day to remember the service and sacrifice of those who have died since World War I.
